Hello and welcome to our 1st youthHanseatic Music and Art Festival!

We are very happy to meet you in Lippstadt! A lot of work has been done up to this night and my task is to say thank you. Thanks to our Sponsors, Stadtsparkassenstiftung, Provinzial Versicherung, Aktion Mensch, Auswärtiges Amt. Thank you, Mr .Schwade, that Lippstadt´s authorities allow us to organize such a big event. Thank you to all helpers and the guides for their marvelous engagement, and a great thank you to the organization team of the music school Annegret, Conny and Thomas and all others assistents! Thanks to Dagmar Weinert and Team for preparing this opening ceremony and Stadtmarketing for setting up the city!  One Assistant, I think everybody knows here in the audience. He had had one of the most difficult tasks: to find your hosts. And because that was a really very hard job, he should drink this really very hard drink after the festival. This is for you Jens, thank you! We know, that you will perform perfect on the stages. We will hear beautiful music and see perfect dances, I ´am shure. Please remember, arts are the finest way to get in dialogue and in this sense our wish for the next three days is, that you start to feel through the arts the power and imagination that is deep inside the hanseatic idea. I believe, that this structur, created in the middle age, is still alive and full of power. So, try it: Be insprired!
